Rick is British and a Chartered Management Accountant with 30 years of diverse experiences including: Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, High Technology, Manufacturing, Breweries... Rick’s first overseas posting was as Finance Manager for BP China followed by a posting to Vietnam in 1990 as Finance Manager to BP Exploration. Rick helped established BP’s various Vietnam operations in Exploration, Lubricants and LPG and has held various Finance and Directorship roles with BP in Asia. A serial entrepreneur and consultant he has been directly involved in hundreds of client engagements in 39 countries and founded several businesses including TRG International and Profiles International SEA. Rick has an MSc in Strategic Business Management, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Fellow of CPA Australia. Rick is the Chairman of AMCHAM HCMC ICT Committee and Chairman of Eurocham Vietnam IT Sector Committee. He is active in promoting Vietnam IT, inward investment to Vietnam as well as IT events and seminars. He is a Board Member of the South-East Asia Regional Board (SEARB) for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). |
